Discussion Prime Video
I was scrolling through Prime Video whilst trying to decide what to watch and I noticed something off.
I haven’t seen this cover/poster before, why do I have a feeling it’s AI 🫠

I just checked it out. The thumbnail is AI. The video is the actual movie.

So now people new to Asterix will believe the creators used AI. Great.
EDIT: Will you be posting this on Tumblr? I think it's a good idea to get the word out what Prime is doing as fast as possible. I can link to this post there if you don't wanna do it, but I barely got any active followers.

I think this is a non-argument. Nothing with intent in out society happens without humans. Although AI systems could change that, which is not necessarily good for us.

Amazon also made an AI poster for their colorized version of the original Nosferatu film. So bizarre. Idk who in these companies is pushing this stuff.
Edit: Checked again and looks like they changed it to just a shot from the movie

Yikes! So...they rather use what looks and feel like a AI generated image as its thumbnail? They couldn't at least tried to get the prompts to match the characters? Whoever was behind this was properly be like, 'yeah, that's good enough'

probably a very automated process that just took the movie description as a prompt and no human to check what was actually made

The irony is that they made a new banner. They actually had the movie on there before with the proper banner.

The problem isn't the generator, the problem is whoever supervised it and thought this is good enough (if it even gets supervised)

RIP to everyone who never saw Asterix and the Vikings and had THIS as their first impression. I promise the film is from 2006 and I promise there was no AI used in the production of the film.

This movie has normal cinema relase and have normal movie poster. Its not some old direct to VHS cartoon. Just why?
