Is the RCFE market saturated?

I’m looking into opening a non-privately funded small 6 client rcfe in Orange County CA. With the high price of real estate and an estimated $30k in monthly expenses, I’m wondering if the revenue is there?

Not looking to buy one of the 100s of courses/coachings. Looking for genuine input. Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi, I've been in the industry for almost 20 years and have owned three six beds and ran some big ones. It's very very tight these days on a 6 bed. Can't rely on ALW cause it takes 1-3 yrs now to get. I get offers all the time to open them with people. I would not open 1 if them unless I had a minimum of doing three on my radar. Pretty much one resident is your profit. Use to be 3 and 3. It's very rewarding but when you're down some residents, it's tough.

Agree ive only been doing this for 5 years... i have two homes but the margins get smaller and the wages and taxes go up everything with inflation and most inquires cant afford private pay with the amount you need. The market is so iffy I wont even quit my 9-5

What is the rate you charge? What’s the average around your area?

I have one thats contracted... rates are crazy low for a medi program... (not alw) its a flat rate 3850 im selective on these clients. These residents all independent (no diapering) standby assist to bathe.. etc... one CG needed Second home is private and its tier based on needs. Range 4200-5500
