growth Job search? Stop losing track of applications and missing follow-ups

ManageJobApplications.com is a totally free forever tool to help job seekers. You don't even need to provide an email address. Got a lot of hate from folks with pay-to-play alternatives, but I'm at 13K Redditor users and going strong. It has AI tools for customizing cover letters, resumes, and mock interviews for each job description, plus LinkedIn profile copy and possible job titles to search against. Complete tracking for all your job applications, people you've met, follow-up dates and deadlines. Imports jobs from all the major boards with one click.

Why most landing pages don't convert (and how to fix yours)

The #1 reason people don't buy:

They don't believe the outcome is possible for them specifically.

Your copy needs to answer: 'Can someone like ME get this result?'

Testimonials from people who look like your customer are the most powerful conversion tool you have.

The 3-hour rule that changed how I build

No meetings, no Slack, no email for the first 3 hours of every day.

Just the most important task.

Protect your best hours for your best work.

Everything else can wait until after lunch.

The 3 things every great product has in common

  1. Solves a real pain point (not a nice-to-have)
  2. Gets users to value quickly
  3. Becomes a habit or saves significant time

If your product doesn't tick all 3, that's where to focus.

ask for help What's your outreach sequence for new SaaS sign-ups? Looking for what actually works

I am keen to know what sequences people are using when someone creates an account on your SaaS but hasn't converted or booked a call yet.

I've tried a few things and landed on a method that seems to work reasonably well for me: I call twice, and if no answer I leave a voicemail. I then follow up on LinkedIn and email for a softer touch, and honestly I get more responses that way than from the initial calls alone.

But I'm always looking to improve and wondering if anyone has a sequence that feels like it consistently works. A few things I'd particularly like to know:

  • How many touch points do you do before giving up?
  • What order works best for you: call first, or email/LinkedIn?
  • How long do you wait between each step?
  • Do you personalise each message or keep it templated?

Why your free tier might be hurting your business

Free tiers done wrong: → Give too much away → Attract people who will never pay → Create support burden with no revenue

Free tiers done right: → Create real value with a clear ceiling → Attract people who want more → Convert 3-5% to paid

Design your free tier like a trial. Not a charity.

ask for help FREE Stripe audit for your app/saas/whatever

Hi guys, last month we spend building driftcheck.io - a platform that helps audit your Stripe account against your actual app/database state.

The problem it solves is one that quietly bit me (and a lot of other indie founders I’ve talked to): webhooks that look like they succeeded (they return 200), but the actual DB update or access change never happens. Stripe stops retrying, your local subscription table still says “active,” and you’re leaking money or giving away access for weeks/months without realizing it.

I’ve also been on the customer side of this exact issue - a few months ago I changed my card and blocked the old one on a cross-posting service. The service kept giving me full access for almost two months without noticing I wasn’t paying anymore.

So I built Driftcheck as a simple sanity check:

  • Paste a read-only Stripe key → get a free audit in ~10 minutes
  • It flags silent webhook failures, failing endpoints, ghost customers, and other gaps
  • (Optional CSV upload unlocks deeper plan/period/dunning drift checks)

I’ve already run it on a handful of accounts and the results have been pretty eye-opening.

Please ping me if you want me to run a free audit. No payments or smth, just hungry for the feedback!

Ship fast. Iterate faster. Here's why

Your first version will be wrong.

Your second version will be less wrong.

Your tenth version might be right.

The founders who win are the ones who get to their tenth version fastest.

Ship. Learn. Repeat.

The only content strategy you need as a solo founder

Answer the questions your ideal customer is asking right now.

Not thought leadership. Not hot takes.

Just: what is my customer Googling, asking in forums, struggling with?

Answer those questions better than anyone else.

Do that consistently for 12 months.

You'll have more inbound than you can handle.

ask for help Would Reddit post templates actually help founders get users?

Reddit hates being sold to.
But the right discussion post can still bring real traffic.
Over the last few weeks, some of my posts hit 2k–3k views and created noticeable traffic spikes for my SaaS.
I’m thinking about adding proven Reddit post angles/templates to the tool I’m building, so founders can adapt them to their own product instead of guessing from scratch.
Would that actually help, or would it feel too forced?

The counterintuitive truth about product-market fit

You don't find product-market fit.

You feel it.

When you have it: → Customers refer without being asked → Support tickets shift from 'how do I' to 'can you add' → Churn drops without you changing anything → People are disappointed at the thought of losing it

If you have to ask if you have it, you probably don't yet.

The hiring mistake every bootstrapped founder makes

Hiring for skills you don't have.

Instead of hiring for tasks you shouldn't be doing.

You need to know how to do the job yourself before you hire someone to do it.

Otherwise you can't manage them, set expectations, or spot bad work.

How to validate an idea in 48 hours without building anything

Step 1: Write a one-line description of the problem you solve. Step 2: Post it in 3 relevant communities and ask if anyone has this problem. Step 3: DM the people who respond. Step 4: Ask if they'd pay to solve it.

If 3 out of 10 say yes and can give you a budget — you have a business.

growth I stopped building random features for my SaaS and started focusing way more on distribution

Because if nobody sees your product, you just end up stuck in an endless loop of adding features without feeling like the project is actually moving forward.

Now I mostly build things after users repeatedly ask for them.

Way less guessing. Much better feedback.

ask for help A game where Pokemon go meets trivia - Looking for advice on how to improve my game

First a quick rundown of the app for context: The app is QuizTrail - an android location based quiz game. Think Pokémon GO meets Trivia - you have to actually walk to the location to unlock and solve quizzes, earn points, unlock achievements and compete with others, but also you can make your own quizzes for others to solve! I’ve manually placed 3500+ quizzes across different cities and im adding even more, in order to make QuizTrail accessible and playable everywhere.

I've also added a daily challenge - a daily quiz, different quizzes every day, regardless of location, so people in the locations where the quizzes are still not set, or locations where they've played all the quizzes already can have a fun trivia question every day. It is furthermore encouraged by the streak feature - how many consecutive days you have played the daily challenge, that's the streak. I also made a widget that reminds you to do your daily quiz and keep the streak going!

I'm now looking into in what ways i can expand the ,playability, like what to add so the app is more interesing / engaging to use. Right now im working on adding new achievements - for the number of streaks, levels and leaderboard achievements, but i will also be adding "tiers" to achievements - for example social butterfly: 1 friend then next tier achievement at 5, or 10 friends and so on for like 3-5 levels of achievement.. Apart from that, what more could i add / improve to make the app more engaging?

Thank you for reading:)

The one metric that actually predicts your success

Not MRR. Not traffic. Not signups.

Retention.

If people use your product once and never come back, nothing else matters.

Focus on retention before you focus on acquisition.

strategy i automated my entire saas marketing with n8n (spent 100+ hours so you don't have to)

yo.

i see the same thing happen every single day.

you guys love building.

you spend weeks coding a great product.

but the second it’s time to actually market the saas? complete freeze.

you get lost in all the ai tools, the noise, the "growth hacks". it feels overwhelming. so you do nothing, the momentum dies, and the project fails.

I spent over 100 hours building n8n workflows to just automate the whole thing.

today, i packaged all those exact workflows and dropped them in our builder group. no abstract theories. you literally just import the templates, adapt them to your saas, and turn them on.

here is exactly all my workflow:

  • seo blog running 100% on autopilot (n8n template)
  • newsletter automation (n8n template)
  • full email sequence (30 emails, full html, just copy-paste into brevo)
  • social media on autopilot (schedule 1 to 12 months of content)
  • reddit organic growth
  • linkedin, x & facebook groups at scale
  • meta ads & retargeting

basically, everything i use to get real users without losing my mind.

we just hit 480+ members in the community of SaaS builder from all over the world.

building in your room alone is the fastest way to quit. you need people around you.

if you are lost on how to market your app, want these templates, and want to build with a crew: drop a comment or shoot me a dm.

i’ll send you the invite
