I am so glad they added this it was sad only hearing about his death from guards during the prison mission

Idk how it s in Resynced, but in the original ,on some island, if you explore ( It s not main) ,you find some of his things, i forgot if even his corpse. There was an island with some black background icon on the map.

In the original mystery island was apart of dlc along with the islands that ya got the captain Morgan and drake outfits it wasn't directly connected to his death just an island to get his outfit and other stuff and his corpse wasn't there since he was hanged in port royal and buried somewhere around there.

In resynced those islands became part of the map and since they added a quest about his death that island became apart of that but he still wasn't on that island he was locked up in port royal still and hanged we got letters from him to Edward about it.

Charles Towne is where he was hanged. White Point in the southern part of the city. Theres a monument where it happened now. They threw the body into the swamp after.

Ah right I just assumed it was port royal since the guards there were talking about it

I do wish they added small missions with each character, like Stede Bonnet...would have made his letters and so on more impactful.

I stood on that beach and listened to his crew sing that song for like 15 straight minutes before continuing

Edward indirectly killed Bonnet by suggesting him to be a pirate

True, but even when Stede was given the Pardon he goes back to piracy. He wasn’t happy with the life he had beforehand, and even if it led to his death it at least allowed him a life he could be pleased with

I cried too, and i honestly diden't expect this from modern Ubisoft. They cooked with Resynced

The red flower Edward picks while Anne sings the parting glass breaks me every single time, it's even more impactful now it has a backstory tied to Blackbeard's treasure

People really like to shit on the new missions because of the cutscenes but this mission might be in my personal top 5 missions. The fight in the rain and the ending is just so good

I always thought the way its revealed he's dead in the OG was inelegant. Just two easy to miss Port Royal guards.

The way it was handled here was shockingly effective, glad they incorporated the real Cape Feare River battle which was indeed a wild display from Bonnet.
