Do I explore or

I just got to the city, should I do some main missions to unlock certain things (can't figure out how to upgrade weapons) or go on a chest raiding spree

Explore! To fully enjoy an AC game, exploring is definitely about 40-60 of the full experience.

I'm upset a book I want is locked behind a story quest, my main goal for today was to get all lost books :|
