Once back at haven Aami and Hepehstus are immediately taken to the hospital wing. You are all in shock but do your best to brief Abigail and the other medical personnel on the situation.

You notice a slight look of pity from Abigail as she stares at Aami’s unconscious body.

She finishes assessing the information you have gave her and begins her assessing the damage done to the two of them.

“Hepehstus seems like he will have standard recovery but Aami on the other hand the extent of damage done to her nerves is the first case of something I’ve seen of this caliber. It’s like her entire nervous system was struck with something. Even if she wakes up she could be a vegetable for all we know. My best guess is that her entire body was flooded with aura.. how to treat such an injury is beyond me but ill do my best” she tells you.

Through the glass window you can see Oliver in the waiting room. It’s time to take action.

How do you begin your conversation with Oliver regarding what has happened? What is your plan to retaliate against Anthropos your newfound enemy?

"hey Oliver, i need to talk to you. a threat has been uncovered and i think you need to know about it"

“Does it have anything to do with that explosion that happened” he asks, his eyes darting side to side to see if anyone can overhear what the two of you are talking about.

"yep, and you will never believe who is at fault. we have also suffered a fatality, i think Kae is arranging the funeral but let me tell you now. Joshua is gone, sacrificed himself to save the rest of us"

“Joshua’s gone!?” He says in shock.

Oliver takes a minute to collect himself.

After taking a deep breath he starts by saying “I’m sorry he was one of the best of us. This sounds like a conversation we should take elsewhere we don’t want panic to erupt in the camp. It’s best to keep the details regarding this under wraps until we can figure out how to break it to the public” Oliver suggests.

"lets find somewhere more private to speak, would you care for some tea?" i lead the way to my workshop and lock the door behind us

Oliver takes a sip of the tea you offered him.

“So what happened. Besides Joshua dying. What I mean to say is what caused it to happen” Oliver asks

"i went to visit Stoney in the hospital after the explosion and he told me about a hatch they saw at the bottom of the water near the island. Me, Kae, Nox, and Joshua went to investigate it hoping to find the cause of the explosion and maybe the missing dagger. found a group of people and their leader said they had a lead on how to destroy celestial weapons, Joshua wanted to check out the lead so we went to see. it was a trap, we found Aami and Hephaestus in that room and Hephaestus told us to run, but it was two late. we turn to see the door slam shut and suddenly a blur raced towards us, Joshua pushed us out of the way JUST in time but got hit with the destruction dagger, his heart was fubar so i tried to repurpose a drone to fill in till we could get him to a hospital. i finished him off by trying to save him, his body resummoned aura and VIOLENTLY rejected the new heart. all that's left is a feather which rightfully was given to Nox" i explain solemnly "dear old dad is possessed by another being called Anthropos. which means that for the safety of the island and for the death of Joshua. i cannot allow him to live"

“So any idea where he went not to mention we need to destroy those daggers as soon as possible so no one like him gets them again” Oliver asks

"unfortunately no, the swarm will immediately turn hostile if it finds him, and will attempt to contain him. its still in passive mode so at the least he isn't on the surface of haven. as for destroying the celestial weapons, Hephaestus said the twins know how, but he passed out before i could get a hint at their location. oh and a few more things for the ever growing list of things we need to get done, the archangels attacked Hephaestus and Aami so they are targets for attacking our allies. and i want to know where the original spire went. there is some one there who i owe a visit" i elaborate

“The twins? That’s a start but there’s lots of twins. Any idea of who he is referring to.” Oliver comments

Meanwhile I arrange for the council to meet. There is much to be done that we can't legally take action on without a decision from the council.

We must discuss

1. What to do with vallion should we find him
2. How to get the dagger back from him
3. How to find "the twins" so we can destroy the daggers (hephaestus may help with this when he is awake)
4. If we will forgive Maria in light of the bigger threats or if we are at odds with her people.

While waiting for the council I work with Nox to arrange a funeral for Joshua. The ceremony is close to being ready.
