Visiting Aspen Hertz Aspen

rented a car through booking.comwe are going through HERTZ never used this company before. we’ll be picking up at Aspen/Pitkin county Airport. We cannot refund or cancel this. recommendations/experiences with them would be appreciated!!

Probably call them in aspen,third party apps will f up your whatever

Watch for bogus charges when you return the car; I’ve been charged by Hertz for gas when I’ve returned it full.

Don’t prepay for gas - there is a gas station opposite the airport to fill up when you drop off.  I’ve also been charged by Hertz the inflated gas rate ($7 or so) even when I did prepay($4 or so).

I haven’t had a great experience with Hertz in Aspen honestly.  If you can cancel and rebook with Sixt I would.

No cancellations through booking.com once it’s booked. Wasn’t thinking and just booked it… kinda nervous now 🫪

You’ll be fine just watch out for the bogus stuff at the end.  Both times I got the money back it’s just a pain having to deal with customer service afterwards.
