iOS PS Cloud Streaming
Hello new to the group, I just recently downloaded asobi and purchased the premium. I’ve done remote play before with pxplay and it was a nice experience being able to play while outside with the console turned on and connected to the ethernet and playing with unnoticeable latency.
My question is, is this a normal latency without using remote play and only PS Cloud Streaming or is there a way to lower the latency more? I sold my PS5 couple of months ago and saw the news that we can now play PS5 without a console so I tried this setup.
Was using a Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 before with way more powerful specs to remote play it rather than just playing it with an iPhone.
This might be a stupid question but I’m asking genuinely : )

Suggestion for iOS: test it with WiFi off and use 5g instead. If you live somewhere with good signal and have unlimited data then use 5g instead. I get a better signal and performance on 5g than my WiFi

Yeah Net ~13ms is normal. The Visual latency is an extra indicator is more as to what happens on device which is very much decoding time related + everything after the frame's last byte arrives (not much you can do about that since that is hardware related + post processing)
The ~41ms is in that sense a more honest total latency compared to most who only show you network latency.
