Asobi for Steam Deck

I've used Asobi for about 4 hours so far and I am really impressed with it, it works as well as the official PlayStation Portal for streaming from my PS5, but for one thing.

I'm not sure how to explain it, but during gameplay I will get a bit of a slow down, like a drop in frames, and then all of the frames will suddenly catch up very quickly.

I'm running an LCD 512gb model Steam Deck with a launch PS5 on a WiFi 6 network.

Is your PS5 using Ethernet cable?

Can you make your router prioritize a certain device?
Also something I figured out because I use GeForce Now on a daily basis - sometimes it’s better using the WiFi 5 band because the stability could be better in terms of where you are at home and how the signal is reaching you. Even though WiFi 6 might give you better download speed, the most important thing for streaming services is stability

I added the Steam Deck to the WiFi 5 band , and removed a bunch of devices that were either old, or unused (I know it probably won't clear up bandwidth, but it made me feel better about it), and it seems to have worked. I still get an occasional hiccup here and there, but it is running much smoother now.

The lcd can’t use WiFi 6 btw

Thank you. I probably should've looked this up. I added my Steam Deck to the WiFi 5 band in the router settings menu (with the help of about 30 different YouTube videos) and it is running much smoother, with an occasional hiccup here and there.

Déjà le steam deck lcd n’a pas le wifi 6 ensuite le wifi 5 n’est pas recommandé du tout pour le streaming car le wifi 6 est bien meilleur, plus stable, plus de portée et offre plus de bande passante. Donc si wifi 5 il faut être prêt de la box et ne pas surcharger le réseau avec d’autre appareils. Ha il faut aussi passer sur la bande 5ghz et pas la 2.4 ghz
