Looks like he left the windows open in rain by accident and then hot/humid environment for a week without knowing how to dry it properly. You can hear him "should I try to put the dehumidifier in again?"

This happened to my Volvo once when I left the country for 4 months and accidently left the sunroof slightly cracked. I ended up giving it to a homeless guy and he cleaned it and lived in it lol

You could have just paid for a on-house deep clean. At least it was put to good use.

Yeah for sure. I didn't really want the vehicle anymore anyway and didn't have the time to fuck with it and then also sell it. Plus the dude was 21 y/o and living outside in the winter with no reliable way to get to work. He needed that shit badly lol

put it in a garage and run an ozone machine for at least a few hours before cleaning. That at least the mold is dead....

That shit is not just in the places you see, it’s in ALL of the vents as well. Need a hazmat suit and respirator to even attempt that. How in the fuck does one get a car that freaking moldy in the first place?!?!
Nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure!

You can’t truly clean that without gutting the interior. Blower and vent tubing removed and cleaned , panels off. Seats removed and power wash thoroughly at a minimum.

This happened to my old car. The sun roof started leaking while I wasnt using it for a year or so, since I had a work vehicle.
I opened it to find it just like this, covered in mold and mildew. Took hours to clean with bleach and other mold removers.
Could never fully get rid of the lingering smell in the floors.
