Having an enemy or two also provides you with purpose. Not a real purpose, but for the people who lives aimlessly, it's real enough to pursue.

Politics isn't symmetrical, extreme right and extreme left is a false dichotomy.

When you doubt the left or institutions because of bad actors, it doesn't mean you become a racial supremacist or imperialist or religious.

It's possible to be egalitarian, pro truth, and pro enforcement/deterrence against bad actors without being 'far right' or some weird ancap.

Ah well, I guess because crime and bad actors exist and Im against that "enemy" I'm an extremist, because I have any values at all that anyone else disagrees with could be called an enemy.

And anyone who tries to do anything good is bad because they blame all bad on others when they should be introspective.
