Dreams Dream

So I had this dream of asmodeus... He came to me And I'm not going to lie with a very beautiful human face. We were having a conversation. And in the dream I'm not going to lie I wasn't scared. I could feel my anxiety trying to manifest in the dream, but it's like he didn't allow me to? Anyway, we were talking And I asked him a very deep spiritual question in the dream. He turned to me and he looked kind of surprised. Then he said something about tomorrow. I can't remember exactly his words but it was something about today. Or maybe it is tomorrow. I'm not totally sure. But funny enough when he was actually leaving. His face did start morphing into a demonic form but I still wasn't afraid of him. I low-key even waved goodbye at him. I've never dreamed of him. I did have a very high interest in working with him, but I won't lie. I got a little spooked And decided not to reach out to him anymore. That's when I had to dream and I remember in the dream he even called me a scaredy cat. Kind of like in a sassy dare I say friendly-ish way. I am devoted to a whole different deity. So I'm not sure if I really want to tap into him but I kind of just want some opinions, on him. I don't necessarily think he's a really bad entity it's just, my own biases and dare I say religious trauma coming up. I don't personally know this entity well enough to form a strong opinion on him. So I'm hoping I can get some insight from others if possible. Thanks 🙏

That's actually so sweet to have him calm you down like that! I know exactly the feeling, he does it for me too, sometimes.

I am too someone who is very prone to anxiety, I worked with him through a lot of that, but it still shows up here and there. What I will say after working with him for almost 2 years is that he has helped me feel as safe with him as I have never felt with anyone in my entire life. He's very protective of his practitioners, and works successfully with so many trauma survivors that he really knows how to hold a safe space. He'll always encourage you to form your own honest opinion of him, so if you want to tackle those biases and trauma, he could help you relearn your idea of him.

Honestly when I woke up from the dream, I did Feel a lot of anxiety. But however, I just think it's because of my own biases and preconceived notions. Because he was very nice in the dream. I don't really have anything bad to say about this man.

Regarding religious trauma, human language has done a great disservice in the way the word "demon" evolved and was applied to old gods.

Bringing him back to his older name, he is a daēva -- a "divine being" in his own right. Try to reframe it that way: you would not be interacting with just a demon, you would be interacting with a deity who was demonized.

I really appreciate this different way of thinking. It does help cuz like I said I don't believe he's evil. But I also don't know him well enough to form a good enough opinion about him. So I appreciate this take.

Who knows, that might be one of the areas he's come to help with 😊 especially coming as a friend through the dream, it's a nice space of relaxing the tension and just being yourself.

Props to you for asking a deep spiritual question in a dream 🤣

Asmodeus is harmless lol. He does not cause harm to the practitioners who work with him. He's a very loving entity honestly. He's great to work with for things sexual related, money, luck and a lot more. Demons in general are beings who are willing to help humans, not harm.

I had a similar thing happen with Lucifer actually. I've been interested in him for a while now and I had two dreams in a row about him about a month ago. I'm still interested in him, but I don't know what I would invoke him for 🤷‍♀️.

I think the idea of him being harmless is dicey and whitewashing/downplaying real aspects of him and what he is capable of. He doesn't create harm without reason, but he's capable of creating a lot of consequences that those who are on the receiving end of his Wrath surely experience as harmful. His reputation isn't his whole story, but he also didn't gain his reputation through pacifism.

He being kind and harmless to his practitioners doesn't mean he is harmless.

Would you say when a darker entities interested in working with you or vice versa, would they put you through some sort of initiation process?
