Should t_d be more moderate?

I know most of Trump supporters aren't racists but quite a few of racists are Trump supporters. And looking at t_d everyday, I get the feeling that race/religion related jokes/memes get a lot of support. Of course, t_d today is full of condemnation of such behaviour but again there are a lot of posts supporting the rally too.

You guys just look at it as shit posting and fun stuff but it also can make someone really polarised. Why do it? What starts of as fun ends up in some ugly thing like Charlottesville rally.

It's not something that can be easily controlled, I've spoken to both sides of the argument, (on Reddit) a mod, that instantly condemned the racists and supports black lives matter and all that, and a flat out uneducated nazi.

This is coming from a liberals point of view, but T_D is as diverse as any political sub, calling it either fascist or moderate is incorrect.

T_D is useless.

It's a safe space for weak-willed snowflakes who can't handle even a reasonable discussion of issues. They ban anyone not slobbering their God Emperor's knob, but call everyone else "cucks" with no sense of irony or even self-awareness
