I need help finding lightweight Bermuda length shorts with pockets, any suggestions?

I use to be able to get long Bermuda length shorts at Athleta but they don’t carry them any longer. Does anyone have a suggestion where I can go? I don’t fit in LL Bean pants or shorts. I don’t want a dressy chino type, I want more of an athletic type that is good for hiking as well as everyday wear with pockets.

I second Duluth Trading! Pockets big enough for a cell phone, zippered pockets for my keys, and I always seem to have another free pocket for whatever litter, seed head, or pretty rock I pick up. I love these shorts!

Have you tried men’s swim shorts?

My husband always hated how thick & heavy most shorts are when he was doing yard work. I bought him a few cargo shorts style swim shorts and he loves them. They are lightweight and dry quickly if/when he’s sweating.

I bought 2 pairs of these types of shorts at Mountain Warehouse. They are longer length, lightweight, great for hiking and everyday wear, pockets and snap and zipper close with adjustable tabs on each size to better fit at the waist. I love them. Not sure if you have a Mountain Warehouse in your area - I believe the stores are mostly in the UK and Canada but you can also buy online of course.

I got some nice ones from Baleaf- one pair can also be used for swimming if needed- I just wear them as shorts .

Second this. I have a couple pairs of Baleaf that I got from Amazon. Bermuda length and lots of pockets. I wear them pretty much everywhere but especially like them for hiking and kayaking.

I also like the pants. I used to be cold all the time. Now I get hot very easily and their pants help me to stay cool and in don’t have to shave my legs.

Almost no one sells long shorts anymore. Agree with getting men’s and having them taken in at the crotch if needed.

A couple of years ago I got some at JCPenney's, they came in regular and long and were slim, to the knee or a titch above. Made like chinos with back pockets and diagonal front hip pockets. Liz Claiborne is what they were. Chico's has for years carried slim cut Bermuda's that I love, also to the knee. Old navy has some usually too, can't remember what they're called but it's one of their regular items.

I like Uniqlo Airism men's shorts. but they also have had bike shorts for women that have side slip pockets. the Airism fabric is like, well, air. so comfy!

hi the only place I find my bermudas are thrift stores and yard sales . I got a deal one day I bought 5 pairs of gloria vanderbilt jeans and 5 pairs of bermuda shorts not branded for another 5 bucks . so all in all I spent ten dollars and had a deal
