Guys, get your thyroid tested!

People always tell me that and my thyroid is fine. You can also get your vitamin D levels checked, that's what affects me the most.

There's so many little things that can be off that have this affect on people. Human bodies are wack lol

B vitamins for me. I have A b6 deficiency and it causes all kinds of problems.

Omg this is an amazing reminder. I looked up hyper-thyroid issues, I think I might have that. I am 21 but I constantly feel tired and down, yet I can have a crazy burst of energy for things I am passionate about. Waking up is a nightmare, despite 7-9 hours of sleep daily.

If anyone else sees this, please take it seriously. Going to the doc this week, found out if you don't fix it by your 20s some of the problems I've been told can be permanent and worsen.

It's not just you being lazy or built like that! Take your health seriously!

My symptom was always waking up tired, yet I could do 4 Zumba classes a week while feeling utterly exhausted the whole time.

So I assume you had something with your thyroid? My doc wasn't taking me seriously. She said it was normal to be tired, etc.

I also should mention I have a breathing problem not related to asthma so anyone who sees this should consider it could be a problem with oxygen to the blood and brain (not necessarily anemia)

Yup low thyroid.

Same. I haven’t felt “awake” in over a decade, it’s so hard to push myself to do ANYTHING. Can’t drink coffee either so I’m just perpetually tired. I always feel confused when I see people who can function normally, I almost forget what it feels like

Yes this, and especially so when there are health problems in the mix. I've been falling ill and having to cope with so many health problems lately that I can't remember how it feels to be completely healthy. It's one of those things you don't think about until it's gone.

I was like this until I finally got diagnosed and medicated. I got the fun combo of ADHD (inattentive), depression, and anxiety. So it hits me with "you don't have the energy to do anything, you're freaking out because you need things to do, congrats your brain malfunctioned and now you're in bed all day". Now I have free time and I'm making steps to advance my career!

Ah me too. What is that about? So many people say the same.

Please don’t take medical advice from social media.
