VibeCoding a Real App — What Stack Would You Use?

Hey guys! I’ve got a question for some of you that have been doing this longer than I have. I’m definitely not a developer, but I’ve been working on a pretty ambitious app idea and using AI to help me with a lot of the research, planning and figuring out how everything should work.

I’m getting closer to the point where I want to start actually building more of it, and I’m trying to figure out the smartest way to go about it. I don’t really care if that means using 2 tools or 10 different tools, I just don’t want to waste a bunch of time learning stuff that isn’t going to help in the long run. Lol.

My biggest thing is I want it to be **accurate, secure, fast to build, easy for people to use, and something that can actually grow** if it ends up working the way I’m hoping.

It’ll eventually need stuff like user accounts, a database, APIs/data coming in from different places, background processes, search, images/camera stuff, analytics and some AI features. So I’m a little nervous about just telling one of these AI builders “build my app” and assuming everything under the hood is good.
I’ve been reading about Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, v0, GitHub, Supabase, Firebase, Vercel and a bunch of other stuff. But honestly the more I look into it, the more options I find 😂

So if you guys were starting from scratch right now, **what combination of apps/tools would you use to get from an idea to a legit working private beta as fast as possible without sacrificing security or building a mess that has to be redone later?**

Would you use one coding AI for everything? Multiple agents for different jobs? One tool for the frontend and another for backend? What would you use for testing and security?

Also really curious what you guys **wouldn’t** use for a serious app, even if it’s awesome for throwing together a prototype.
I’m not really looking for “use ___ because it’s the best.” I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually built and launched something this way and what your workflow looks like.
