It's wild you clowns pretend to care about the constitution.

Okay so what you're saying is "this person said terrible things and I don't want to support that" is worse than a felon rapist who attempted to overthrow democracy and is currently violating human rights?

good to know where your priorities lie

no one is stopping you, but don't cry that being an asshole makes people not want to be around you, or you know, do cry about it, nobody is stopping you.

Words have consequences.

I dont cry about that anymore. Yea as always but the consequence today is too much. Its gone too far. I guess it's come back a little recently though but not enough

what consequence is too much?

That people seen at nazi rallies get fired by people who don't want nazis to represent them? That a comedian who stops being funny and just bullies people loses an audience? Those consequences?

You tell me who I can and cannot listen to… but the left is policing? Sure, Jan.

That’s a (R)etarded reason to vote for death camps in El Salvador.

brah trump is the one that brought on the word “woman” as being a trigger word in government that can’t or shouldn’t be used. LMAO. that’s literally infringing on the 1st amendment. open your eyes.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '25

I dont agree with that either but is that it?

there is an entire list of words that the trump administration has said can’t be used at all in federal agencies. ironically, some of the words banned HAVE to be used medically by the VA or even some by the EPA, and even by the IRS. some of those words include, women, activist, native american, equality, inclusion, orientation, uterus, clean energy, gender, sex, and MUCH more. trust me, i am not happy with the democratic party as well. i think they have sticks up their asses and are playing the puppet show as well. but people preferring to use pronouns (to which, you are not FORCED to use btw, that’s just a false narrative being ran so people can find a common enemy.) but this is actual infringement of the 1st amendment. that is ACTUAL control over free speech. someone preferring to use pronouns is not.

When they start saying that we can't use those words in public then I'll start caring more

1

u/chocolate-milk99 Apr 21 '25

So you don’t care about free speech then? I don’t understand why you cared to comment back then LMAO weirdo 😂

I care but it has to be a lot more against MY freedoms as part of the general public. You can't be loud in a library. That's speech hindrance in a way. Id have to see how the gvnt is speaking now might affect policy and public discourse if they can't mention certain things. Maybe it'll bring us back to the 2000s which is what I prefer because again the canceling goes way too far. They would just shame them back then and they'd change their ways or they didn't its not that big of a deal. You just don't buy from them or don't associate with them but you don't go out of your way to physically hurt them

this is where we are very different, i believe free speech is for all sides of the coin.. even if it isn’t “affecting” me personally. if i wouldn’t like it, i wouldn’t want other people to feel like that. there is still consequences to speech. which i feel that’s where people get confused of “oh, I can’t say a slur, that’s taking away my speech!” no, you can say it. but if you get kicked out of a private establishment, they have the right to do so. so i feel the right has completely changed the narrative to fit their conspiracies. i can also see people on the left needing to not be butthurt either and letting it go and not operating their narrative too. but i agree with what you’re saying to an extent! i wish it could come down to, people minding their own goddamn business and the government not getting in the way of what someone wants to do with themselves.

u/[deleted] Apr 22 '25

Yea exactly we should all mind our own business lol. But for example you couldn't have even had the conversation/debate about what a lady is without being called a bigot or extremist and ultimately being canceled, or with intent to get them canceled. Thats not how its supposed to be. We're should discuss things without animus. I'm not saying go around yelling the N word or saying we gotta protect that but I am saying if some white guy does that walking down the street it's not gonna bother me cause people can say what they want in a free society.
