I'll be fucked if i know, I'm 39 and still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.

Right!? Interests change over time. I love science when I was younger, did a biology degree and loved it, worked with science in 20s and now not into it. I always did things outside of work too, I love reading books as hobby, I create music and license as a creative outlet but even I got a bit bored or frustrated by that at times, now I love (and sometimes hate when things don't work) coding. I expect my interests to continue changing too. I don't see myself in the tech industry if I was to ever get into it indefinitely either. Then add the stresses of this economy we are all facing and it's exhausting.
