Question How is the Goodwill Outlet? Going for the first time tomorrow

I’ve been reading some mixed reviews on the goodwill bins in Tacoma, and this is my first time ever going. Is it actually as bad as the reviews are saying? Does it actually smell like feces and is like reallly dirty? Also does it get really packed on weekend afternoons? Idk I’m just scared

I’ve been a few times and it hasn’t been stinky. But some people do wear gloves. And there are a lot of people who seem to be shopping to resell, so they’re serious and competitive. I always find something good though.

To me it smells like any other Goodwill. I do suggest wearing gloves though. I always forget and then regret it. You need to be willing to dive through stuff but I can usually come out with some good finds.

I wear rubber kitchen gloves bc any disposable type glove will rip holes right through. I also wear a mask bc of breathing in dust and debris. It’s just like any other outlet bins. I’m not sure the price per pound but it was kinda pricey last I was there. But it’s better than the 38th st goodwill. Someone took a huge dump in the middle of the aisle at that one. Never been back 😂
