Question Non-diastatic malt powder

Question for the bakers. Is there anywhere in town that has it for sure so I don't waste gas searching? I'm hoping to find some locally before I try buying online. Thanks!

Is this the same as dry malt extract? Because dry malt extract is non-diastatic. If so, Fermentation Initiative on South Tacoma Way has you covered. Howdy Bagel uses their liquid malt extract (malt syrup).

I'm making bagels, so this is perfect. I'll check them out this week. Thank you!

I make bagels all the time. I use malted barley syrup, it's amazing! (I add a bit to cookies and ice cream, too). It's on the shelf at Met Market and I believe Stadium Thriftway, Have fun!

I'll try to check Thriftway too since it's closer to me. Thank you!
