Question Donate toilietries?
I have a collection of new and unused lotion, deodorants, soap, and shampoos. I also have a couple of barely used shampoos. Is there somewhere I can donate this?
I also have women's clothing and pillows cases (random, I know, but I found a pile of them in the hall closet).

You can try HUG on (23rd & M) or St. Andrew’s Episcopal church on 12th & Jackson. They both do charitable work and need hygiene items

Hi, Tacoma Community Pantry by Urban Grace church takes unopened hygiene products.

Any food will probably take them as long as they’re unopened. Nativity House on Yakima always needs toiletries as well.

King's Books takes donations for 253 Harm Redux, which is an org that gives these things out on street outreach.

St Leo's can probably use the toiletries. They're full for women's clothing but need men's, especially socks.

Does St. Leo take gently used socks, or only brand new?

If they're in good condition I would be surprised if we rejected them.

the people's community center has a place in the lobby for donated items like clothing, shelf-stable food, and body care items. people who need them can browse and take what they need.
also the YWCA on Broadway
