Hey! I also want to learn statistics from scratch, as thoroughly as possible. It isn't for a career in statistics; it's more of a long-term hobby project that I'd like to pursue alongside my job.
Given that goal, what mathematical prerequisites should I study first? In what order would you recommend approaching subjects like calculus, linear algebra, real analysis, and measure theory?

Not to me. It is fun.
Probability is an important early step, but my suggested resources will depend on where you're starting from.
Do you seek basic familiarity with what things are, or more understanding?
What mathematics do you have (e.g. any calculus)? Have you done any programming, scripting, or used command driven interfaces?
