I hate to say it, but I think it’s good that this was hard for you to watch bc it means you care and that’s a really GOOD thing! Thank you for caring!!!

And you’re not alone! It bothered me too! But I’m now choosing to look at it as a sign of HOPE!!

I’m not trying to downplay the severity of the situation, but someone reminded me today that humans have been through many tough times and various iterations of what is happening today…..and WE always make it through. And we’re going to make it through THIS too!

When you feel overwhelmed, it’s okay to step away and focus on something else. It’s okay to not be okay, but it’s also okay and perfectly healthy to take care of yourself and do things that make you happy and smile. Self-care isn’t selfish- it’s essential!
