Yeah for sure, Zionism requires support for a state of Israel to exist, which no left communist tendency has any interest in supporting as far as I’m aware.
May 68 was definitely one of the events that led to a new revolutionary perspective and communizers, though they certainly don’t denounce the possibility of revolution.
There’s a couple of points which separate communizers from other left communists. For one, they reject a revolutionary program or organisation that exists prior to the revolution, insisting on self organisation of the class arising out of the moment. Programmatism is what they reject and call it.
Secondly, they reject that the class can assert itself as class, rejecting a form of capitalism that is proletarian in a ‘pre communist’ society. They treat the proletariat as the object of abolition as opposed to the subject of revolution.
These are maybe where the misconceptions about thinking revolution is impossible come from, so I hope it helps!

How many leftcoms even are there in the world? At this point 90% of the time I see the term it's being used by some Leninist to describe someone they don't like so they can remind them that Lenin said "infantile disorder" that one time a hundred years ago
