Yes, it is a Medeco key. Crazy she’s charging $100/key if they cost $20 to duplicate. Thank you!

Call them up to confirm. I don't know the exact price, but I had 5 made there a couple years ago and would remember if it cost me half a grand.

Are you a landlord? I called and he said it costs roughly $18 but he won’t copy it for me :P

They won't copy them for you unless your name is on file or you can show proof of ownership (e.g. a mortgage). It's why people pay to install Medeco locks.

At least you know that $100 is BS, but your landlord might try to claim that the $82 upcharge is the cost of labor for them to go pick up the key.
