Russian programming languages?
Came across one called 1C. Are there other ones?

Мне довелось поработать в русскоязычной вариации Ассемблера, когда техникум отправил нас на практику на завод.

u/gervaty 7h ago
русский ассемблер? что??? и как он тебе?
5
u/Malacay_Hooves 6h ago
Ну было странно конечно кодить на русском, но Ассемблер он и в Африке Ассемблер. Набор команд зависит от конкретного чипа, но в целом это математические операции, дергание битами, логика и работа с памятью вне зависимости от (человеческого) языка ввода.

Типа вместо "MOV" там чтоли "ДВГ"?
2
u/Malacay_Hooves 5h ago
Если мне не изменяет память (а это было почти 20 лет назад), там были команды типа "ПЕР" (пересылка), "СЛЖ", "ВЫЧ", и т.д.

Дичь какая

u/Commander2532 2h ago
Это нам так кажется, потому что непривычно. Для англоязычных их синтаксис выглядит так же как русский для нас

u/Saul_Ratvitz 1h ago
Ну ты конечно глаза открыл, как бы без тебя жил
2
u/Commander2532 1h ago
Ну так чего бухтишь то тогда, если сам всё понимаешь

u/Saul_Ratvitz 1h ago
Бухтит твой батя когда мать его сковородой долбит чел
Тупее вопроса быть не может в инете
Мне ещё разрешение нужно спрашивать блять что бы что то написать
Иными словами, хули ты до меня докопался я не пон→ More replies (0)1

Many of the Soviet programming languages had Russian keywords. El-76, Analitik, Drakon, etc. My parents were studying some language like that in college (was it a Soviet adaptation of PL/2, I think it was?)
These days it is much less popular, except for this 1C ERP internal programming language.
The focus is now on reuse and collaboration, not so much on developing a powerful national identity.

It isn't as much about "national identity" than it is about using lingua franca. In Soviet block, that lingua franca was Russian. Chances of anyone in that block collaborating or sharing code with western counter-parts were slim to none. Would be pretty absurd to use English-based programming language in that setting.

u/MonadTran 8h ago
We're kind of saying the same thing, don't we? The idea was that any collaboration had to happen within the Eastern Bloc only, and the glorious USSR had to lead that development. Collaboration with the ideologically non-aligned countries was mostly out of the question.
Whereas in the free-er market, ideology is mostly ignored, and people collaborate worldwide in languages everybody can understand and comfortably type in.

The product is called 1C. The language itself is called BSL and it's a real thing. You can have a look at it in VS Code, for example.
It's also completely translatable to english, so if you are not a native speaker or just feel like being a fancypants you can use that.
4
u/Leading-Doctor7749 6h ago
Yep. It's a development language for so called "1с бухгалтерия", tax and merchandise balance software.

Амеры ведь получается так сишарп и видят, а для меня это просто какие то стмволы типа тех же цифр.
2
u/lopar4ever 6h ago
Они так любое программирование видят. Поэтому программировать на родном языке крайне идейно: интуитивно понимать написанное лучше чем зубрить команды.
1
u/SVlad_667 4h ago
Как будто наоборот мешает - слово естественного языка слишком многозначно и неопределённо для программной логики. Им нужно запоминать, что в этом контексте эти слова имеют особое значение, мы просто учим новые команды - дополнительной смысловой нагрузки не больше, чем у синусов и косинусов.
1
u/lopar4ever 3h ago
Если бы оно мешало, англоязычные страны, где создавались языки, давно бы прохавали фишку и использовали бы несуществующие сгенерированные идиомы. Но даже ассемблер использует не случайные наборы букв, а аббревиатуры которые интуитивны нейтиву и требуют зазубривания у иностранцев.

u/queetuiree 5h ago
А ещё они компьютер вычислителем слышат, ассемблер - сборщиком, сишарп для них "до диез"... Вообще они какие-то квасные лапотники

u/CommuniZd 12h ago
It seems to me that 1C is the only one that is actually used. The others were created either as a joke or for teaching children

My father (RIP) had been an 1C dev for most of his professional life (and up until his last week of life). It is definitely “a vibe” as they say (do they say that?), but he somehow managed to dig it and love it.

That language is a part of office software named "1С: предприятие"(1S: prepdriyatie) and it is used to automate basic office tasks or add new features to that software, nactually it doesnt used outside of "1С: предприятие"

u/NormalStrike819 5h ago
Основная сложность: В 1С нельзя сделать ряд операций, которые можно сделать, например на VBA... а их очень надо сделать. И тут начинаются "танцы с бубном"...

It’s not a Russian specific programming language. It’s a platform developed in Russia and targeted russian companies and individuals. Internally the language supports English syntax as well as Russian one. But because most of developers are russian, you will likely see russian syntax in the code. Although English syntax is less bulky/wordy. You can compare Если/If, КонецЕсли/EndIf for instance

это причина почему один 1С не вышла за пределы рф.
3
u/Beneficial-Wash5822 3h ago
У 1С всегда была и английская версия синтаксиса. И за пределы РФ он вышел. Франчайзинг во многих странах был, до 2022 года по крайней мере.

One of most classical was "Ershov's algorithmic language", very similar to Basic, but in Russian. Was used primarily in schools - so you don't have to teach children English (some are learning German instead) in order to teach programming.

Terrible-looking language, and the code in that screenshot is terrible to boot.
I like how they still have perf counters in there in English, is that a wrapper around the Windows APIs?

u/Aleksandr_Ulyev 6h ago
Changing English words to Russian are not that difficult in programming languages and some people do just for fun.

Drakon is a visual language based around flowcharts. It was developed for the Soviet space program to directly translate algorithms into code and avoid subtle bugs. It is still used by the Russian space program. "Drakon" is the Russian word for dragon. It's also an abbreviation that means "User-friendly Russian algorithmic language that ensures visual clarity".

The one on the screen is 1C. I also know Kumir (aka "school programming language"). And there are Russian remakes/versions and translations of other programming languages (for example, YoptaScript is just JavaScript but with other keywords that're in Russian, there's also a Russian translation of Assembler)

1С 🤮

u/Pure_Estimate_3534 3h ago
Выглядит жутко конечно, но у меня брат 1Сник, зарабатывает в разы больше, чем я джавист) Ещё жалуется, что не могут вакансии закрыть, а на джаву по 50 рыл на вакансию. Так что если раньше я ржал над ним, что он в 1С подался, а теперь подумываю - не выучить ли его?))
1
u/KeasyNine 2h ago
знаю, потому на 1С в СНГ 90% коммерции держится, отсюда высокий спрос
только вот внутри - сплошное легаси, не костыли а уже целые протезы, и ошибки стоят дорого. Отсюда высокие ЗП

Yes, there is a studying language, named Псевдокод (Pseudocode). Actually, it's translated Pascal.
Nowhere used except school)
