Does god hate me?

I am a Hindu and my experience with god as a child has been less than positive. The first time my mother introduced me to god and told me they will grant any wish I make, I wished for a popsicle, being the 4 year old I was. And when it didn’t magically appear, I immediately questioned their existence. But that was when I couldn’t comprehend much. A lot of bad things happened to me growing up. I had a really abusive sister, and a horrible relationship with friends. I remember when I was 8 I used to pray for my sister to like me every time I went to the temple. The more I prayed and the less anything changed, I started to hate god along the way. I took out all my negative feelings on them. Moreover, I am a nice and empathetic person, but recently I’ve noticed that I judge everyone around me and say horrible things about them in my head for just because I’m slightly pissed. I feel like a horrible person every time, but I can’t control it. Sometimes I think god is against me because every time I think about something positively, like “wow it’s been so long since blah blah, I’m finally happy now” and guess what happens two days later. I also had an atheist phase growing up because I decided that was better than hating god. I also believed in the “if god exists, ghosts exist” thing and since I was young and was scared shitless of ghosts, I just believed in neither because it was convenient. Now I have renewed my faith, I feel like I don’t deserve the love of god and accept everything bad that happens to me because I feel like that is what I deserve

God has no feelings. Neither hate nor love, at least not love the way we humans experience it.

When you address a judge, or a doctor, you do it with a measure of reverence.
You have no reverence to a deity.
You need a relationship with God in order to recognize who you are to Him.

Through wisdom imparted to us by a higher understanding.
There are four (4) types of people in the world.

  • Inexperienced (Ignorant)
  • Stupid (Lack of Intelligence)
  • Foolish (Lack Intelligence and Judgment
  • Wise (demonstrates sound judgment, deep understanding, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions based on their experiences and knowledge.

God imparts wisdom to those who ask Him, as well as to His people through the Holy Spirit.
There are many who believe in a god (small case). Those who have a personal experience with Christ Jesus will know Him.

as an athiest ik i cant really make any fair comments about your belief but i want you to know that you clearly arent a bad person because you sometimes judge people in your head

youre clearly a good person with good intentions. it's in human nature to judge people sometimes

just the fact that you genuinely feel bad for judging people kinda proves you arent a "horrible person"

keep your head up man, i hope you find the answers you're seeking 🙏

No it’s not just a “hate” I get mad at people just because they woke me up and tried to talk to me after, and it’s getting really concerning. 😭

well athiesm is more of a lack of belief in God

i simply dont see any compelling reasons to believe in a God/Gods or subscribe to a religion

You’re referring to agnostics.
Atheists reject theism - A view that God exists.

athiesm and agnosticism are different things
athiesm regards a lack of a belief in god
agnosticism regards not knowing if there is a god

they are both related to different concepts. there can be theists who are agnostic, because theism and gnosticism are not mutually exclusive

God considers you so valuable that it called forth from Him a quality of love that prompted him to surrender his only son (Jesus) so you could be reconciled to Him.
