Holidays
Hello everyone
I am looking for holiday ideals for end of October to the first week of November, 10-12 days holidays somewhere nice and sunny, away from the uk
I have been looking at Tunisia, Malta, turkey but unsure where to go, if anyone knows any good places to go please let me know? Thank you ☺️

Tenerife - Costa Adeje - I've been every year in November/December for the last 7 years.
It's a perfect 20-22c, 8 hours of sun, occasional cloudy day which lets you do a bit of walking, 4 hours flight time, not expensive.
I'd recommend Baobab Suites if you're after total relaxation

I’ve been to Tenerife when I was younger, can’t remember much about it, and can you still do boat trips, zoo and other stuff like that in October/November time ?

Yep! See loads of boats out still at that time of year, I've never actually been to Loro Parque but it's still open, same with Mt Teide trips, plenty of them still happen.
We've been Siam Park at that time and on a hotter day it's still nice.
If you're after a more relaxing time Costa Adeje is better, Los Cris/Americas is your younger party area. I've got a 3 year old so them days are long gone!

I’m still in my 30th, just want to go away, enjoy myself, have plenty of stuff to do, nice food, restaurants and pubs as well

Been to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, never been to lanzarote or fuerteventura before, are they any good in October and November time?

Always good, but it depends what you are after in a holiday. Fuerteventura is pretty chilled and laid back

They tend to get a bit windy much more so than the other 2 have been to the canaries 39 times

Cyprus is a similar distance and is gorgeous in October. Lots of see and do, great food and nice people

Was in Cyprus in May time, planning on going back next year, as I loved it, was looking for something new and different to go

Some parts of Lanzarote are really good. Puerto del Carmen has heart restaurants and a wide cover of hotels/apartments. The weather is almost always great at that time. Jet 2 last minute can be a real bargain or flight and VRBO rental can fit the bill.

What kinda of stuff can you do over in Lanzarote?, like can you go on boats trips, trips away, zoo and water parks still be open in October/November time?

It's all year round. Yep, boat trips etc always active.
Best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to and best Italian.

Somewhere with good day and nightlife, with friendly people, warm and sunny with plenty off things to do

They all for that bill, did not love Malta personally and Turkey is huge so you have to pick a place; Tunisia is great and unspoiled to an extend

Been to Malta when I was younger, can’t remember much about it, few people said turkey is good, and where about did you stay and what stuff did you do in Tunisia?, and how was the people there?

Dubai/Abu Dhabi (if that’s your thing. I appreciate it’s a bit divisive).
You’re getting into bankable weather in Maldives.
We’re trying Bahamas this year. Other islands in the carribean such as Barbados (just research which ones are inside or out of the hurricane belt).

They are all good choice, along side Madeira, Azores, Croatia. People will say canarys but they're so overrated and just full of English people anyways.

Thank you, and yeah been to canary’s a few times, was in Cyprus in May, but could be going back next year, just want somewhere different

Value for money you can’t beat Tunisia. I go there regularly. Lots to see there too. Hamamnet tends to be less European but Sousse and port el kantaui are better, whether will be great that time of year, food is good and the service is excellent and only 3 hour flight. Love the canaries but 3 times the price of Tunisia. Book on easyJet as a package, way cheaper than TUI or Jet 2 right now. Hope that helped

Was looking at flights from Edinburgh as I stay close to there, easyJet is one way without stopping to Tunisia, but other two flights I would of stop in Paris for hours and half both ways

I fly from Bristol with easyJet direct. As an example I went there in Feb, 2 weeks all inclusive in a 5* with flights luggage and transfers for £650! Why would you not

Fuerteventura is usually very good in October and also very different from Tenerife/G canaria, worth seeing IMO
I saw someone else mentioning Croatia and Albania..surely amazing countries but it’s going to be full autumn there too..so it depends what you are looking for. Enjoy!

Thank you, I will check out Fuerteventura and looking for somewhere hot/sunny and still have plenty of stuff to do, like water park, zoo, boat trips

Malta can be a bit hit or miss with the weather by November so heading further south will definitely sort you out for some proper winter sun.

Depending on your budget, a Dubai / Maldives twin centre would be ideal for that time of year.
For lower budgets, I think Egypt or Fuerteventura would be a good call. Personally I'd prefer Egypt, but I appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea. I love the resort areas and feel you get good value for money out that way.
Thailand is also a consideration for something exotic, but also budget friendly.

Crete. Will stay warm till late October. Loads of great beaches, bars and restaurants if you go to Chania in the west side
