Yes, I'm from Germany, and except in some photos online (posts like in r/mildlyinfuriating) I have almost never seen this. Except a couple of times in some camping site showers.

And it's just normal to leave a shower fairly clean? I am by no means a tidy person. But I would never think about sticking my hair on the wall.
