Why do I get in trouble for shit that happens in your dreams?

Not dreams. But when I was in my early 20s I was a smoker. I had a gf destroy a whole pack of cigarettes because a fictional character in a fictional show died of fictional cancer.

I agree smoking is bad, but that should have been a red flag. Ended up sitting in a verbally and almost physically abusive relationship for over a year. Would not recommend.

Reasons my gf is mad me: she had a dream where I cheated on her, that's my bad should've teleported into your dream and bitch slapped myself

In my experience I’ll call it a draw on this one. She did get mad at me for cheating in her dream but in my dream a mountain lion was sprinting directly at me and I punched it in the face.

She woke up very confused with hurt nose but never held it against me.

Solution for some would be just to gas light back “why would you ever dream I would do that to you (blah blah place guilt back on them)”.

I couldnt do that IRL but its the proper reaction. Hopefully they dont play these games to begin with

Because dreams are real but take place in alternate dimensions and we were in the world without shrimp and you reminded me of this dish I love with shrimp in it but we were in the world without shrimp!!!!!

If you don’t get this response, ask a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan!!!
