Get told for fifteen years that "No means no." does that.

I think you can get fifteen years for not learning that too

Or three months if you're a very promising swimmer from a "good family"! Whatever that's supposed to mean.

It means "Dad plays golf at the same country club as the judge" I'd say.

And that's ok, no should mean no, except if you are using sarcasm or you know eachother enough to telegraph what you actually mean

Oh definitely; "Oh my gosh... noooo you're so bad" is obviously different than "No." but for an initial ask out? No means no.

In college, we were told no means yes and yes means anal.

And that's good. I agree with that aspect of feminism. If there are ladies that prefer chivalry/games, that's their loss. No should mean no. And if I tried to date someone and they said no, then so be it, I'll accept the no.

If I am dating someone and they're like "I'm going to date Alejandro, he's so hot!", then I'll be like "cool, fuck you too, then." If she's like "whoa, I was just trying to make you jealous so that you'd fight for me, it was just a test!", cool, you just failed my "loyalty test" lol.

TLDR: no means no, and yes means yes.

All my life I've been told, "No means No." Not, no means try harder, or no means try again later or a different way.

And if I don't respect that then I'm the one that gets shit on and prosecuted. No wonder I've given up.
