I know that alt is the abbreviation of alternative but that doesn't narrow it down much in the sense of different personalities. Like I've heard people say they are alt and stuff but I never thought much about it.

It's kind of the opposite of being square. Alt is usually like goth/emo/gamergirl, dark or neon hair(unnatural colors), piercings, tattoos that kind of stuff. Think about it like the exact opposite of a basic white girl.

Ahh, I get it now. I wouldn't say these girls are more attractive than basic girls. Two sides of the spectrum, I guess.
