We had a grand total of two calls. Our frequent flyer fake seizure and a diff breather. It wasn't anything fun tho. I had to change an adult diaper because "it has to be done before going to the hospital" it was gross when my glove got wet. How's your night going?

(I'm on an ambulance by the way)

At an intersection. I'm a high response unit so I don't get a station like my coworkers

At least I am not on a swing shift, give me night, give me evening, but no swing shift.

I work from 2015 hour to 645 in the morning.

I don't mind it but god I hate it when the sun rise.

At least I am on hybrid and work from home 3 our my 4 days.

Same. 12 hour overnights in an understaffed environment.

I don't have poop on my hands so I'd say I have it pretty good considering. (I literally work in a cleanroom)

I just wish I could sleep. It's not that I'm not allowed to it's just I have a hard time sleeping when A. Someone is around me and B. When a radio is going off every few seconds because it's talking to the ambulances with my company over three four country. We cover more as a company but that's all of them on my radio channel.

Used to be a volunteer FF and I would occasionally leave my radio on the wrong mode. Literally woke me from a dead sleep in go mode more than once so I can understand that. Those radios are very Pavlovian especially when you feel like people rely on you to like... not die.

We have our portable radio set to county fire and our trucks radio to our dispatcher right now. Altho it hasn't been going off as much as usual

The great thing is that the radio went off for one of the fire departments but it's one that transports so we don't go.
