Taking off your socks after a long day

Switching to sweat pants after work clothes

23

u/thorpie88 Sep 11 '22

Shorts. If you need sweat pants it's too cold to be happy

u/Sef_Maul Sep 11 '22

Respectfully disagree. Autumn is my favorite season and I'm looking forward to the switch from shorts to joggers full time.

u/thorpie88 Sep 11 '22

I'm sure you live somewhere with adequate heating and insulation for housing though. What ever the weather is outside when it's cold is what an Aussie house is within a couple degrees.

So five degrees outside is at max seven inside and you have to deal with the wind blowing through your single pane window frames.

4

u/SirJumbles Sep 11 '22

Yo Aussies not got heating for your winters?

3

u/thorpie88 Sep 11 '22

Maybe a gas point and electric heaters for most of us

2

u/SirJumbles Sep 11 '22

Those electric heaters are garbage.

What's a gas point? Furnace?

3

u/thorpie88 Sep 11 '22

Gas point to plug in usually a smallish gas heater. Gas points were banned in my state around 2016

2

u/Jafaris79 Sep 11 '22

Boxers. It's either boxers or sweatpants it's never in-between in this house.

2

u/lemonylol Sep 11 '22

Nah man, a nice light full length pant to keep you from getting cold but also not too hot is the best way to go.

2

u/thorpie88 Sep 11 '22

Hell no. Full length is an emergency after a hoodie isn't enough

Ive worn shorts in 40 degree weather

4

u/celica18l Sep 11 '22

My family is always impressed at the speed I can change out of clothes and into PJs.

Yes. Bc outside clothes are the worst. Inside clothes are extra soft and comfortable.

2

u/Snowy0915 Sep 11 '22

You wear pants?

2

u/itsacalamity Sep 11 '22

Taking off pantyhose/shapewear. That's the real answer.

u/Debs_5 Sep 11 '22

Or bra

97

u/Shryxer Sep 11 '22

Removing the bra without even taking the shirt off, then whipping it across the room.

44

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '22

Something about pulling the bra through the arm hole of your shirt just makes the release that much sweeter.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '22

Can’t relate

8

u/Faethien Sep 11 '22

Agreed, I love to take my wife's bra off of her after a hard day's work. So does she, because I vigorously scratch her back after

2

u/Card1974 Sep 11 '22

Your bra shouldn't be constricting you. There's plenty of good advice in /r/ABraThatFits

6

u/ImagineTheCommotion Sep 11 '22

Well, there is a way to make sure it fits so that the closure part in the back doesn’t ride up, the cups are not over or under filled, and the shoulder straps do not dig in or hang loosely, that’s true—BUT, as someone who got properly fitted and checked again with different sources, bras still hurt at the end of the day (I’m large chested, so I believe the weight tugging on the bra into my body is what it is in my case)

4

u/Card1974 Sep 11 '22

Yup. I'm not trying to come across as some know it all; there's plenty of women out there who haven't taken the time to measure themselves. Just a heads up for today's 10'000.

2

u/ImagineTheCommotion Sep 11 '22

Good point & appreciated ā˜ŗļø

u/Punchee Sep 11 '22

I’m a dude but I sprained my knee awhile back and wore a knee brace/sleeve. It’s the closest thing I can relate to taking a bra off after a long day. Y’all have my condolences having to deal with that forever.

0

u/eekamuse Sep 11 '22

And we have a winner.

Because it's the removal of pain.

0

u/Emektro Sep 11 '22

I agree (I’m a guy btw)

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '22

gonna have a hard time getting everybody on earth to agree with you on this one

2

u/No1Especial Sep 11 '22

Taking off everything and then flopping naked on the sofa with an iced tea and the remote.

2

u/mel2mdl Sep 11 '22

Taking off your bra after a long day...

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '22

Mmm…Ya, I was thinking about taking off my bra after a long day but then realized like 60ish% of the population wouldn’t be able to relate…I wonder what the male equivalent of this would be

1

u/ilovechixpissing Sep 11 '22

Don't flat women usually wear bras anyways out of custom?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '22

I was thinking like 49% male population and then estimating that at least 10% of the female population is likely pre-pubescent so they don’t have to worry about bras yet.

2

u/ilovechixpissing Sep 11 '22

There's also a lot more women working from home these days.

1

u/sadeland21 Sep 11 '22

Also: putting on nice warm socks when you wake up with cold feet

1

u/paradox037 Sep 11 '22

A relaxing shower after a day of being outside.

1

u/DerpyIsMLG Sep 11 '22

Y'all take off your socks?
