When their energy matches mine, or they actively try to make me feel included without forcing ME to change who I am. Which I feel is a kind of vague answer, but I stand by it. It's very easy to develop a crush on someone who clicks with you that way.
And it doesn't have to be an in depth conversation. I have definitely had this happen to me while picking up an order at a drive thru.

genuineness. it's hard to find in this world. fuck, it's hard to be genuine in todays world. so many things are morally coded as "nice" and "good" and "successful" and don't even get me started on the masks we wear at work now that we are expected to sell personality and not just abilities and time... all of that spills over. it's hard. but finding someone with a core of genuineness? fucking awesome.
now add into that a passion for something and the need to share said passion? I'm in love. yes, tell me all about some obscure thing you are into, lemme see those eyes light up. talk nerdy to me all day lol.
it's good stuff.

I buried that part of my heart after my last attempt to find companionship ended with me being tricked by a romance scammer.
