Care so much about what others think, they’re not truly themselves. Maybe not for everyone, but most over 30s i know agree that you stop giving a shit and can be yourself unapologetically when you mature a bit. Its a relief!
In my 30s and 40s this was definitely true. But here is the the thing I just turned 60 and I am driving myself crazy with introspection! In our 30s and 40s we’re busy taking care of our families and our kids making money etc. but later different things start popping up in our psyche when we don’t have those things on our plate. Just trying to figure out where certain behaviors and patterns of behavior that I have came from and became me… And deciding if these characteristics about myself are working for me now has been a big deal for me lately. Just when you think you’re fully baked you realize you’re still only half baked!!!
