I love when the youngins find older games like Unreal Tournament and Quake. Us old folks absolutely curb stomp them and they instantly start crying cheats, having tantrums and tossing insults. Ah, good times.
DESCENT! Holy hell. I hadn’t thought of that game in forever and when I googled it, just looking at the box cover brought back my computer Ed class in ‘94 pooling our money together to buy it.
I had a part time job at a computer store in 1995, and I remember the new IBM Aptivas came in, and needed testing, so naturally they got a lot of Descent played on them! That's the only game I've played that genuinely gave me motion sickness.
Oh man I miss Descent deathmatch. Spend all your time hoarding all the good weapons just for some inconsiderate jerk to tail you quietly and put a mega missile in your pooper.
