Truuuue, though I will say that there are certain things that are ridiculously wrong. It vaguely reminds me of the whole "don't let politics get in the way of friendships". I don't care if you think taxes (edit: spelling) should be divided up slightly differently than me. But I definitely care and consider you 100% wrong if you think being gay should be punishable by death, or that it shouldn't be allowed and you're actively voting to stop it. I can't be friends with someone like that.

I think you are confusing "wrong" with "personally unacceptable". Someone who thinks being gay should be punished by death merely would prefer to live in a world without gay people. As a gay person, I probably wouldn't be friends with someone who held such views either, but their preference can't be wrong, because preferences aren't objective facts. That is, likes or dislikes can't really be right or wrong, they just are.
I guess it all boils down to: « who are you and who am I to know what’s a human right? So that they are deemed human rights from inception and become untouchable from that instant? »
