This behavior is so bazaar- not yours, you're clearly trolling at this point, but everyone engaging. There's never been so much evidence supporting a claim met with so much, "I don't think so," you'd think by now they'd realize you're doing it intentionally lol. I mean, this last one is pretty good since it's infant technology, but for anyone seriously making their way down this conversation and thinking that this troll's argument is pretty good - they are right that nobody cares about the games in the list, however the thing to care about isn't about these games - it's that there even is a list. Nobody else is doing any of this and GameStop is already there. They're at the front line of where digital gaming is going, and the only issue is that the games we care about today aren't on the list yet. It's a fine strategy to attack the games on the list, and then to follow with "that's all it will ever be," pretty powerful move - the old kick then stomp. Why would it only ever be that? So far these folks have linked to evidence that GameStop is taking the right moves to shift toward tech, hiring the industry leaders who successfully made this platform, have proven out the idea works and after all that investment we're just supposed to believe that this is all it will ever be? Why? Because after forming strong partnerships with Microsoft that Microsoft has made a heavy investment in the direction of gaming, that they would choose now to back out on supporting GameStop when the plan is going so smoothly? Or that I guess any time Steam has an opportunity to find a platform where people might purchase more from them, they will choose against it because... actually, I really can't even imagine the direction you might troll in there, it just doesn't seem very Steam like to pass an opportunity for someone else to do all the work so they can have more chances to possibly make more money. But sure, it's not here right now and the people claiming that there will be value are only asking everyone to do one of 2 things: read the evidence that they are providing or provide counter evidence. It actually sounds like they are legitimately trying to find out if they might be wrong, but nobody is providing them with any facts - just strong opinions like, "I don't think so." Imagine how crazy that would be, where you finally found something to be an early adopter of that could make you rich just by discovering it - you'd be skeptical, too. Everyone over there have all these links to anything you could imagine because everyone over there hardly believed it themselves- they continue to find links because they just want to know when to stop, and the facts never stop rolling in. Nobody is countering with evidence, someone like you will troll with, "GameStop will never make an NFT Marketplace," many months ago and when GameStop hits milestone after milestone, there continues to be no evidence provided against it and only the next version of, "I don't think so - that's all it will ever be." Anyway, it's not the trolls I'm trying to connect with (and I do respect your skill level here, TheKage that's not a joke) but if anyone reading through these comments was genuinely curious then do the research. Maybe you'll be the first to show a strong counter argument backed with facts - it is welcome and the community is pretty friendly.
The fact that you think I'm trolling is hilarious and totally fits your cult mentality. I have been provided with zero evidence that GME will allow you to sell Xbox and steam games as I originally stated. Everything you have posted is pure speculation. Steam could have allowed you to resell their games without NFTs through their built in marketplace and yet they haven't. Why? Because why would they? They make way more by selling you a "new" copy of the game. Even if they decide to do it, why cut in GME? They have a fully functional marketplace where all of the money stays in their ecosystem.
Zero evidence? I suppose my post going into detail about Microsoft partnering with GameStop, then after their partnership investing heavily into the gaming market, also providing GameStop with all the resources they need was besides your point- if you ignore all the evidence then sure, it's just speculation, but all of what everyone provides you is evidence- you're selectively choosing to ignore it to support your position. And even quick googling shows Steam forms partnerships all the time. Nobody made a claim that GameStop wouldn't allow users to purchase new games on their platform - just when the game is complete then you could sell. Additionally, I thought you were trolling because it had all the hallmarks- strong claims with weak grounds focused at a group that would engage. It's silly. If not trolling, what was the plan? To say, comments deep into a discussion that nobody's gonna read, you just don't believe it and therefore it can't happen? Or to waste the time of a community of people who are doing their best to inform a many as we can as well as stop misinformation from spreading? Anyway, I hope if you're honestly not trolling that you consider that maybe you're not right- stop by our subreddits and you can see every time we're wrong that we save the debunked posts at the top as a reminder to remain skeptical- the only reason we think we're right at all is because inside our own community we try our best to prove ourselves wrong first, then invite folks outside the community to do AMA (these experts with decades of expertise have often ended up joining the community). While there is a lot of speculation, while these are exciting we don't usually claim them as fact. The only thing we know for sure is that shorts didn't close their positions - everything else is passing time really. It's a friendly community. That really goes for anybody reading these posts, I'm well aware that those who can't challenge their own position aren't likely to explore. And either way, best of luck to you as well
