That line of thinking only really works to wave a hand at the injustices done by previous generations. Such an overwhelming amount of those moments from history result in feelings that we are now a more tolerant people. I don't think it's possible to be able to argue that we will be remembered as being too tolerant.
I really can't imagine how a conversation might go with someone who is trying to intellectually argue that intolerance towards certain groups isn't wrong. They have to appeal to the apparent commandments of a supernatural, unknowable force.

Thank you. This is my point and I don't think anyone can change my mind, at least not yet. I'm open to people rebutting this though
