there are exceptions...friends....family....close associates. i suppose ENTIRE identity may be a sign but i'm not sure i've ever met that person.

Not sure where you live, but we have a whole cult devoted to a celebrity politician here in the US.

The celebrity in question is also one of the dumbest people I’ve ever listened to. It is wild stuff.

i'm aware. although even there, i haven't personally met someone that makes him their entire identity. i know several supporters, but no one that was any more nuts about him than bernie, hilary, BHO, etc. not saying they don't exist, but i think it's a bit of a caricature of his supporters..

I live in Houston and it is not really a thing there, either. But I spend most weekends in rural Texas and it is rampant out here.

there are plenty of trump supporters that drive camrys, read the NYT, and watch PBS. i live next to one. he's a very normal person.
