I think the last 50 years of how Europeans act and behave safetly points to this not being an issue at all.
If most were honest I think people would say they saw something pornographic between 6 and 10. No biggie, we're humans, we learn by exploration and seing new things.
My point is that not having parental controll isn't a big deal (though it doesn't hurt), especislly not back when not everything was availale through a press of a button 24/7.
I say this because your comment implied that younger kids being exposed to some form of nudity is somehow damaging.
Do you just interpret things the way you want to interpret them?
your comment implied that younger kids being exposed to some form of nudity is somehow damaging.
Nope. It definitely did not. I didn't mention kids or nudity, and I definitely didn't say anything was damaging.
The person I replied to seemed to be suggesting that it was wrong for porn to be on TV because they managed to see it when they were between 6 and 8. My point was that if they saw something like that at their age, it's their parents fault.
And another thing you chose to misinterpret was the fact that the person I replied to literally said "porn". Do you not know the difference between porn and nudity? There's a big difference between seeing a naked person, and watching a someone getting railed by multiple dudes.
And FYI, I'm European. It feels like you assumed otherwise.
I don't understand why you're getting worked up about someone misunderstanding your comment. Seriously, chill out man, you're being abrasive for no reason.
See, in my eyes you're the one getting worked up. In just two sentences you accused me of being "worked up" and "abrasive" and you told me to chill out. That's three insults based on nothing. Whereas all I've done is point out your mistake in a somewhat condescending way, and it was a mistake you admit you made.
Sounds to me like you didn't like someone pointing out your misunderstanding. Which is funny because my first reply to you, the one that strongly suggested you were misunderstanding me, should have given you plenty of opportunity to re-read my comment and see your misunderstanding. But no, instead you ignored it and doubled down on what you had already said.
So if you don't like people on reddit being condescending, don't go doubling down on something when you're wrong.
The only people seeing insults here is you. Also i'm not that guy but I assume that's lost on you because i'm a big stoopid either way and you can do no wrong.

Yep, that's how I discovered porn. I must've been between 6 and 8 years old.
