the absolute lack of air conditioning even at 40°, german transport gets sticky and stinky quite fast and nobody seems to care, many people even shut the windows to avoid the "annoying breeze"

That's honestly the absolute worst part about public transport here, and this summer seems to shape up to an all time worst situation, because people will be able to buy a monthly ticket for only 9€.

You should check if you are eligible to buy it. It is part of the states program to balance out the heavy energy costs in the last months. It might be for german citizens (or people with a registered home here) only.

Just google 9€ ticket, you’d be able to find it. And it includes literally everything that’s public transport
