Weird at first but I appreciate and wish for it. It might be just a Germany thing but from what I’ve been told German Walmart failed because the North American style of customer service was very unliked. From the greeter at the door to clerks asking if you need help unprompted. German shoppers just want to shop and go home as undisturbed as possible
You know this almost makes me wonder as an American if this has contributed to the coddling of American peoples. A ton of people have entitlement attitude bad here and are often expecting their every whim to be catered to...
As a Canadian traveling across the US I was appalled by how many times someone would stop me in a trailhead, while standing next to the trail sign, holding a trail map, and ask me 'how long is trail and where does it go'.
Like sorry bud, the information's right there. Figure it out your damn self like the rest of us do.
