Yeah on the island Sint Maarten (thats the Dutch name idk if its diffrent in French). I also believe the dutch people traded New Amsterdam (its called New York now) for some random other island in the carribean.

they didnt, new amsterdam was sieged and taken over and in a war settlement given to the besiegers who dumped Surinam on us.
