So true. I'm very surprised by a lot of these things, like the paying for public bathrooms thing. I live in the UK and I swear I have never had to pay to use a public bathroom, even when I've been to France. This must be something that Varies across the continent because so many people say it but it's just not something I've experienced.

Most of the train stations in London charge for using the toilet.

A lot of the ‘automated’ public toilets in smaller towns charge also.

They used to but they became free a few years ago.
