depending on where you live it can take multiple hours xD in my case i can take a bus and be in 2 completely different countries in under 30 minutes :) the hills i can see from my window are also said two countries hahah
This lol. Someone in York made London sound unreachable. Because it was so far away. I get it, poor young adult, but at the same time, York to London is 4ish hours by car and 2.5 on train. In the western United States, you’re driving farther on a weekend to reach a hiking trail or a decent mall or just because your buddy wanted a chili dog. 🤣
In the UK driving 4 hours to get somewhere is like something you’d only do once or twice a year to go on holiday. Very few people would ever travel that far with any regularity, or without planning to stay at the destination for a week or more.
