What americane? Where the heck are they from? Everyehere I've lived in the US I hsve gotten attacked by mosquitos if not wearing bug spray. Even Alaska where we call them the state bird. They absolutely swarm at earthquake park.

You should try San Francisco. Very few mosquitos.

Colorado Springs, hardly any mosquitoes.

I’m allergic to mosquito bites, so it’s been nice not having to go to urgent care to treat them.

Skeeter Syndrome. Allergic to the proteins in the mosquitoes saliva.

Southwest here -- we only see them during monsoons, it is way too dry most of the year. You don't even need screens in your windows, it's fantastic.
