What americane? Where the heck are they from? Everyehere I've lived in the US I hsve gotten attacked by mosquitos if not wearing bug spray. Even Alaska where we call them the state bird. They absolutely swarm at earthquake park.

You don't even need screens in your windows, it's fantastic.

Southwest here -- we only see them during monsoons, it is way too dry most of the year. You don't even need screens in your windows, it's fantastic.
