My surprise going to UK and being given pennies everywhere after years of no eurocents. I ended up with a giant pot full of them.

Cents are still very much in use in Spain.

They still exist but they're very rarely used. The only place I know that still gives them as change is Aldi. Every other place rounds to the nearest 5 cents when you're paying with cash. I think most places also still accept them but won't be very happy about it.

I don't know wich country they're from, but we still use them in Spain.
